Important Notice – End Users License Agreement - AdControl for Windows 8

Microsoft Advertising Services

Updated: August 2, 2013

Published: June 4, 2013

Read the end user license agreement (EULA) in its entirety.

The EULA contains important information including text that must appear within your own privacy policy and/or terms of use statement when your app uses advertising. Make sure your app complies with all sections of the EULA, including those related to Redistribution Requirements, Data Collection and Use and Additional Agreements.

Age Rating: Your Windows 8 apps must have an Age rating of at least 12+ in the Windows Application Marketplace to receive Ads. See the Additional Agreements section.

The EULA can be found in the folder where your Visual Studio Extension SDKs are located. This location might be different for different users. If you created a custom installation path, you will find the SDK in the path you created. The default installation paths are:

  • C:\Program Files\Microsoft SDKs\Windows\v8.0\ExtensionSDKs\MSAdvertisingJS\6.1

  • C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft SDKs\Windows\v8.0\ExtensionSDKs\MSAdvertisingJS\6.1
