parentTimeEnd Property

This topic documents a feature of HTML+TIME 2.0, which is obsolete as of Windows Internet Explorer 9.

Gets the end time of the current element as an offset from the begin time of the parent element.

Syntax

[ iTime = ] currTimeState.parentTimeEnd

Possible Values

iTime Integer that receives the end time of the current element, in seconds.

The property is read-only. The property has no default value.

Remarks

This property represents the sum of the parentTimeBegin property and the activeDur property. For example, if an element has a begin time of 4 seconds, a duration ( dur) of 10 seconds, and autoReverse set to true, the value of the parentTimeEnd property will be 24 seconds.

Example

This example uses the parentTimeEnd property to retrieve the end time of the current element.
