connectionType Property

This topic documents a feature of Binary Behaviors, which are obsolete as of Internet Explorer 10.

Obsolete. Retrieves the type of connection in use.

Syntax

XML N/A
Scripting [ sConnectionType = ] clientCaps.connectionType

Possible Values

sConnectionType String that receives one of the following values.
lan
User is connected through a network.
modem
User is connected through a modem.
offline
User is working offline.

The property is read-only. The property has no default value.

Remarks

 New for Windows Internet Explorer 9 Internet Explorer 9. Obsolete. Do not use.

Example

This example displays all the properties available through the clientCaps behavior.
