<div id="blue"></div>
<div id="yellow"></div>
<div id="green"></div>

div {
   float: left;
}
#blue {
   background-color: #00A4EF;
   height: 50px;
   width: 50px;
}
#yellow {
   background-color: #FFB900;
   height: 50px;
   width: 50px;
   margin-right: 10px;
}
#green {
   background-color: #7FBA00;
   height: 50px;
   width: 50px;

The following example uses inline scripting to set the right margin of the image to 1 centimeter when the onclick event occurs.

<html>
<head>
  <title>marginRight</title>
</head>

<body>
  <p>Click any sphere to expand the right margin to 1cm. Double-click a sphere to return to no right margin.</p>
