GLSL errors in Internet Explorer 11
The F12 developer tools console reports error and informational messages from the WebGL context. The Internet Explorer 11 GLSL compiler doesn't support all of the GLSL ES 2.0 language syntax yet. More GLSL syntax will be added to IE11 in a future update. To help get your code to work with IE11, some workarounds are noted here.
See the WebGL API for Internet Explorer for more information on the APIs.
The GLSL program used on this page isn't compiling. The GLSL compiler in IE11 will be updated in future versions.
|struct support||Structures are not available yet||Rewrite code to not use structures.|
|Texture lookup in the vertex shader||Supported on specific hardware.||Use gl.getParameter(gl.MAX_VERTEX_TEXTURE_IMAGE_UNITS) to determine if vertex shader texture lookup is supported and adjust your shader conditionally.|
|gl_FrontFacing||Not currently supported.|
|#line support||Not currently supported.|
|GLSL extensions (such as OES_standard_derivatives)||Not currently supported.|
|Internal Linker Error||A shader failed to compile or link on provided hardware due to its complexity.||Try reducing the complexity of the shader so it can run on all hardware.|
|gl_PointSize||Implemented but value doesn't change.|
