checkFramebufferStatus method

Returns whether the currently bound WebGLFramebuffer is complete. If not complete, returns the reason why.

var retval = WebGLRenderingContext.checkFramebufferStatus(target);

Parameters

target [in]

Type: Number

The following constant.

gl.FRAMEBUFFER
returnValue [out]

Type: Number

One of the following:

ValueMeaning
gl.FRAMEBUFFER_COMPLETE

The frame buffer is ready to display.

gl.FRAMEBUFFER_INCOMPLETE_ATTACHMENT

The attachment types are mismatched.

gl.FRAMEBUFFER_INCOMPLETE_MISSING_ATTACHMENT

There is no attachment.

gl.FRAMEBUFFER_INCOMPLETE_DIMENSIONS

The height and width of the attachments are not the same.

gl.FRAMEBUFFER_UNSUPPORTED

The attachments aren't supported.

 

Return value

This method does not return a value.

Remarks

WebGL errorDescription
gl.INVALID_ENUMIf the target isn't gl.FRAMEBUFFER.
