ITIMEMediaElement::hasAudio Property

This topic documents a feature of HTML+TIME 2.0, which is obsolete as of Windows Internet Explorer 9.

Gets a VARIANT_BOOL value that indicates whether the media contains audio.

Syntax


HRESULT ITIMEMediaElement::get_hasAudio(VARIANT_BOOL *b);

Parameters

b
Pointer to a variable of type VARIANT_BOOL that receives one of the values listed in Possible Values.

Possible Values

VARIANT_FALSE Default. The media does not contain audio.
VARIANT_TRUE The media has audio.

Return Value

Returns S_OK if successful, or an error value otherwise.

Remarks

The ITIMEMediaElement::hasAudio property returns true if the media has audio, regardless of the mute setting or the volume setting.
