There are two or more file types named '<type>'

You have added two or more file types with the same name. File types must have unique names.

Note   It is possible to have multiple file types with the same name if the executable files specified in the Command property have unique conditions set in the File System Editor. For more information, see Conditional Deployment.

If you need to provide multiple file extensions for a file type, you can add multiple extensions in the Extensions property by separating them with semicolons.

To correct this error

  1. Double-click the error in the Task List to go to the file type in the File Types Editor.
  2. Delete the duplicate file type, or select the (Name) property in the Properties window and enter a different name.
