April 17, 2012

This topic describes how to publish an existing app to new Windows Phone Marketplace countries and regions. As Windows Phone Marketplace opens to more countries and regions, you should consider following this procedure to expand the reach and customer base of your apps.

To publish an existing app to new Windows Phone Marketplace countries and regions

  1. Log on to App Hub using your developer credentials.

  2. On your Windows Phone dashboard, click the app you want to publish to new Windows Phone Marketplace countries or regions.

  3. On the app lifecycle tab, click Edit catalog details.

  4. On the catalog details page, click Next.

  5. On the pricing page, click Worldwide Distribution to publish your app to all available markets, including markets that were added since you last edited the catalog details of your app. Alternatively, expand each market region and then select the specific countries or regions where you want to publish your app. Your app will be published in the countries or regions with check boxes that are selected.

  6. Click Submit.

Important noteImportant Note:

When publishing your app to new countries or regions, you should note that content that is offensive in any country/region to which your application is targeted is not allowed. Content may be considered offensive in certain countries/regions because of local laws or cultural norms. For more information, see Section 3.10 of Content Policies.
