Getting Started with Application Deployment with the Windows Azure HPC Scheduler
Updated: April 10, 2013
This guide walks through how to build and deploy a sample Windows Azure service by using the Windows Azure HPC Scheduler SDK. The Windows Azure HPC Scheduler SDK includes plug-ins and tools that developers can use to deploy their Windows Azure applications with the Windows Azure HPC Scheduler. These deployments can be used to support and schedule scalable, compute-intensive, parallel applications such as Message Passing Interface (MPI) and service-oriented architecture (SOA) applications.
In this guide:
-
Overview of the Windows Azure HPC Scheduler
-
Requirements for Deploying the Sample Applications with the Windows Azure HPC Scheduler
-
Steps to Configure and Publish the Sample Applications
-
Run the Sample MPI Application
-
Run the Sample SOA Application
-
