DbDataReader.ReadAsync Method

An asynchronous version of Read(), which advances the reader to the next record in a result set. This method invokes ReadAsync(CancellationToken) with CancellationToken.None.

Type: System.Threading.Tasks.Task<Boolean>
A task representing the asynchronous operation.
