Network and Network Interface Information for Windows Phone

The end-user experience of any web-based application is highly dependent on the quality and availability of the device’s network connection. On Windows Phone OS 7.1, the Microsoft.Phone.Net.NetworkInformation namespace provides several classes that allow your application to learn more about the network status of the device it is running on. For example, your application can check if a cellular-data or Wi-Fi connection is enabled. You can also use the API to set cellular or non-cellular network preferences.
