Parameters

type
Type: System.String

The claim type.

value
Type: System.String

The claim value.

valueType
Type: System.String

The claim value type. If this parameter is a null reference (Nothing in Visual Basic), then ClaimValueTypes.String is used.

issuer
Type: System.String

The claim issuer. If this parameter is empty or a null reference (Nothing in Visual Basic), then DefaultIssuer is used.

ExceptionCondition
ArgumentNullException

type or value is a null reference (Nothing in Visual Basic).

The Subject property is set to a null reference (Nothing in Visual Basic). The OriginalIssuer property is set according to the value of the issuer parameter.
