The ability to create and package your customizations is now provided as a feature named Solutions in Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2011. Solutions give you a framework for packaging, installing, and uninstalling components that provide specific business functionality. Solutions are used primarily by ISVs and other Microsoft Dynamics CRM solution providers.
