Touch Driver Reference (Compact 7)

This language reference section describes the APIs of the following components of the touch driver:

  • The touch driver model device driver (MDD), which implements the platform-independent aspects of the touch driver. It has a stream interface.
  • The touch driver physical device driver (PDD), which implements the platform-dependent aspects of the touch driver. It provides services to the MDD. Its interface is called the device driver service interface (DDSI).
  • The touch calibration DLL, which calibrates touch contact points for the touch proxy driver and the touch driver MDD.
Touch Calibration Functions

Provides reference information for the touch calibration DLL functions.

Touch Driver Enumerations

Provides reference information for the touch driver enumerations.

Touch Driver DDSI Functions

Provides reference information for the device driver service-provider interface (DDSI) functions of the touch driver.

Touch Driver MDD Functions

Provides reference information for the MDD functions of the touch driver.

Touch Driver IOCTLs

Provides reference information for the MDD IOCTLs of the touch driver.

Touch Driver Structures

Provides information for the structures of the touch driver.

Touch Driver Registry Settings

Provides examples that show registry entries for the touch driver, including values you might set to use the touch screen driver.
