Servicesd.exe Catalog Items and Sysgen Variables (Compact 2013)

3/26/2014

In Windows Embedded Compact, you can implement service DLLs.

Servicesd.exe provides enhanced loading capabilities for services, such as support for starting, pausing, and stopping services.

Note

Services.exe, which was the host process of services DLLs before Windows Embedded CE 6.0 R2, now acts only as a command-line interpreter.

For more information about how to add or remove catalog items, see Create Your First OS.
