Audio Redirection with Remote Desktop Connection (Windows Embedded Compact 7)

With audio redirection in Remote Desktop Connection, a Windows Embedded Compact powered device can send audio input to, or play audio output from, a server running Terminal Services.
Audio redirection provides the following capabilities:

Input redirection Users can redirect audio input from a device to the server for processing by an audio application on the server. For example, device users can use a microphone and audio hardware to provide input to a sound recorder or text-to-speech application on the server that runs Terminal Services.

Output redirection Users can redirect audio output from a server to the device.

Concurrent Input/Output Users can send audio input to a server application while concurrently listening to audio sent from the server to the device.
You can configure audio redirection to specify whether audio input can be recorded on the device and whether audio output plays on the device. You can use any of the following methods to configure audio redirection.
