FileSystemSecurity.RemoveAuditRuleAll Method (FileSystemAuditRule)

Removes all audit rules for the specified user from the current file or directory.

Parameters

rule
Type: System.Security.AccessControl.FileSystemAuditRule

A FileSystemAuditRule object that specifies a user whose audit rules should be removed from a file or directory.

ExceptionCondition
ArgumentNullException

The rule parameter is a null reference (Nothing in Visual Basic).

The RemoveAuditRuleAll method removes all audit rules for the specified user. It ignores all values in the FileSystemAuditRule object except the user account.
