CepStream.ToEdgeEnumerable<TPayload> Method (CepStream<TPayload>)
Assembly: Microsoft.ComplexEventProcessing (in Microsoft.ComplexEventProcessing.dll)
public static ICepEnumerable<EdgeEvent<TPayload>> ToEdgeEnumerable<TPayload>( this CepStream<TPayload> stream )
Type of the event payload.
- Type: Microsoft.ComplexEventProcessing.Linq.CepStream<>
The fully bound event source from which the enumerable event sink is created.
Return ValueType: Microsoft.ComplexEventProcessing.Linq.ICepEnumerable<EdgeEvent<>>
An event sink that supports iteration.
Usage NoteIn Visual Basic and C#, you can call this method as an instance method on any object of type CepStream<>. When you use instance method syntax to call this method, omit the first parameter. For more information, see http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb384936.aspx or http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb383977.aspx.
Calling the GetEnumerator method of the enumerable event sink initializes and starts a query. The query is deleted when the enumerator is disposed.
The ICepEnumerable<T> interface includes an overload of GetEnumerator that lets you specify a name and description for the query. These additional properties are useful for debugging.
For more information about the data types that are supported in the payload of an event, see Creating Event Types.
