Application Contact Control

Ff748267.note(en-us,MSDN.10).gifNote:
Current information about Live Connect is now available in the Windows Live Developer Center. The information in the following sections is provided for legacy purposes only.

You can use the Application Contact control to define attributes for an application contact, such as its display name and picture URL. In cases where the application contact list does not require a signature, you can use the Application Contact control to implicitly define an application contact.

For a signed-in user, the Application Contact control defines application-specific profile data, such as the application display name that other application users see.

The Application Contact control is represented in markup by the app-contact tag.

For more information about Application Contacts, see Application Contacts (Messenger Connect).

The following example shows the complete markup to insert the Application Contact control into a web page.
