The Smart Client Software Factory QuickStarts are brief, easy-to-understand illustrations of key software factory activities. QuickStarts are an ideal starting point if you want to gain an understanding of a software factory activity and are comfortable learning new techniques by examining source code.

Note:
Before you can use the QuickStarts, you must install them. To install them, run the Smart Client Software Factory Source Code Installer.

The Smart Client Software Factory includes the following QuickStarts:

Composite UI Application Block QuickStarts. The following QuickStarts are the original QuickStarts contained in the December 2005 release of the Composite UI Application Block release:
Extensions to the Composite UI Application Block. The software factory includes the following QuickStart that demonstrates how to use the Windows Presentation Foundation integration layer that extends the Composite UI Application Block:
