2.1.1122 Part 4 Section 3.18.83, ST_TotalsRowFunction (Totals Row Function Types)

a. The standard does not specify the formula specified by the enumeration value.

The values average, count, countNums, max, min, stdDev, sum, and var specify the SUBTOTAL formula (“[ECMA-376] Part 4 §3.17.7.302; SUBTOTAL”); where the function-number is specified in the following value table and the argument-list is a cell reference (“[ECMA-376] Part 4 §3.17.2.3; Cell References”) or structure reference (“[ECMA-376] Part 4 §3.17.2.3; Cell References”) that designates the cells of the table column’s data region.

The following are possible enumeration values for this type:

Enumeration Value

Description

average (Average)

Represents the arithmetic mean. The SUBTOTAL function-number is 101.

count (Non Empty Cell Count)

Represents a count of the number of non-empty cells. The SUBTOTAL function-number is 103.

countNums (Count Numbers)

Represents the number of cells that contain numbers. The SUBTOTAL function-number is 102.

custom (Custom Formula)

Represents the formula provided in totalsRowFormula.

max (Maximum)

Represents the largest value. The SUBTOTAL function-number is 104.

min (Minimum)

Represents the smallest value. The SUBTOTAL function-number is 105.

none (None)

No total row.

stdDev (StdDev)

Represents the estimated standard deviation. The SUBTOTAL function-number is 107.

sum (Sum)

Represents the arithmetic sum. The SUBTOTAL function-number is 109.

var (Var)

Represents the estimated variance. The SUBTOTAL function-number is 110.
