2.1.1147 Part 4 Section 4.3.2.6, normalViewPr (Normal View Properties)

a. The standard states that the showOutlineIcons attribute specifies whether the application should show icons if displaying outline content in any of the content regions of normal view mode.

PowerPoint interprets the value of the showOutlineIcons attribute to be true.

This note applies to the following products: 2007, 2007 SP1.

b. The standard states that the vertBarState attribute affects the state of the slide region.

PowerPoint uses the vertBarState attribute to affect the state of the side content region.

c. The standard states that the horzBarState attribute affects the state of the side content region.

PowerPoint uses the horzBarState attribute to affect the state of the slide region.

d. The standard places no restrictions on the relationship between the horzBarState attribute and the restoredTop child element.

PowerPoint ignores the restoredTop child element when the value of the horzBarState attribute is minimized or maximized.

e. The standard places no restrictions on the relationship between the vertBarState attribute and the restoredLeft child element.

PowerPoint ignores the restoredLeft child element when the value of the vertBarState attribute is minimized or maximized.
