Change a Version Name (Master Data Services)

In Master Data Services, change the version name to customize it for your organization.
To perform this procedure:

You must have permission to access the Version Management functional area.

You must be a model administrator. For more information, see Administrators (Master Data Services).
To change the version name

In Master Data Manager, click Version Management.

On the Manage Versions page, in the grid, double-click a cell in the Name column.

Type the new name.

Press ENTER.
