ID3DX11EffectConstantBuffer::SetTextureBuffer method

Set a texture-buffer.

Syntax


HRESULT SetTextureBuffer(
  ID3D11ShaderResourceView *pTextureBuffer
);

Parameters

pTextureBuffer

Type: ID3D11ShaderResourceView*

A pointer to a shader-resource-view interface for accessing a texture buffer.

Return value

Type: HRESULT

Returns one of the following Direct3D 11 Return Codes.

Remarks

Note  The DirectX SDK does not supply any compiled binaries for effects. You must use Effects 11 source to build your effects-type application. For more information about using Effects 11 source, see Differences Between Effects 10 and Effects 11.
