Define Color Dialog Box (Devices)
Specifies the hue of a color, and can be used to add custom hues. If you change the hue, the values for red, green, and blue (RGB) will change to match. Values range from 0 to 239.
To display this dialog box from Design view, right-click any component that has color properties, such as a TextBox control, click Properties in the shortcut menu, and select a color property, such as Forecolor, in the Properties window. Then, click the drop-down arrow at the right of that property listing, click Custom, and then right-click one of the empty tiles at the bottom of the Customs tab.
Color mapping is stored for each installed platform as a resource in the platform designer assembly. RGB and named colors are the same for both desktop and device platforms, but system colors differ. System colors are translated at design time. Color selection is limited to colors supported in the .NET Compact Framework and might differ from platform to platform.
If no color map schema is found for a platform, the desktop default is used.
You can use the mouse or the TAB key to position the pointer in the Hue, Saturation, and Luminosity boxes. Then click F1 to display a tooltip with additional information.
