IFE Language 2 Interface

Describes the methods associated with IFELanguage, Version 2.0.

This topic describes the methods associated with version 2.0 of the IFELanguage interface for the following versions:

• Japanese IME: Office IME 2007 Ver.12.x, Microsoft IME Ver.10.X, IME 2003 Ver.9.X, IME 2002 Ver.8.1.7.xxx, IME 2002 Ver.8.1.4.xxx, IME 2002 Ver.8, IME 2000 Ver.7.1, IME 2000 Ver.7

• Simplified Chinese IME: Microsoft Pinyin IME 2007, Microsoft Pinyin IME 2003, Microsoft Pinyin IME 3.0, Microsoft Pinyin IME 2.0

The IFELanguage interface provides services that may be language-dependent and different for each target language.) The services listed below are those currently available.

IFELanguage version 2.0 is the latest version of IFE Language 1 Interface already in publication.

IFELanguage version 2.0 contains the following three functions defined in IFELanguage version 1.0:

• IFELanguage::Open Method

• IFELanguage::Close Method

• IFELanguage::GetPhonetic Method

In addition, version 2.0 supports the following functions:

• IFELanguage2::GetMorphResult Method

• IFELanguage2::GetConversionModeCaps Method

• IFELanguage2::GetPhonetic

IFELanguage version 2.0 also uses some data structures to give the clients detailed information. These are:

• WDD Structure

• MORRSLT Structure
