WindowsClaimsIdentity.RoleClaimType Property

Gets or sets the claim type used for the IsInRole method.

Property Value

The claim type to be used to determine the role of the user. The default is GroupSid.

Remarks

The IsInRole method is used to determine whether a current principal is in a specified role. The claims-based model extends this check to use claims presented by the principal.

Any public static (Shared in Visual Basic) members of this type are thread safe. Any instance members are not guaranteed to be thread safe.
