RsaSha1SignatureCookieTransform Class

Provides cookie integrity using RSA signature.

Remarks

RsaSignatureCookieTransform adds an RSA-SHA1 MAC to the cookie data. This provides integrity but not confidentiality.

Cookies signed with this transform may be read by any machine that shares the same RSA private key (generally associated with an X509 certificate).

This class is provided for compatibility with systems that do not support SHA-256. If SHA-256 is available, it is recommended that RsaSignatureCookieTransform be used instead of this class.
