Transactions Page (Master Data Manager)
Use the Transactions page to review and reverse transactions.
This page contains three panes:
This page is available from the Explorer functional area. However, the Explorer page displays the logged in user's transactions only, and you cannot specify the model and version.
Use the Filter Criteria pane to filter the grid.
Filters the grid by the specified criteria.
You must first select a column and specify filter criteria or select a value from the cell in the grid.
Add filter row
Adds a row, from which you can specify additional filter criteria.
Delete selected filter row
Deletes the selected filter row.
Double-click the cell to select the grid column from which you want to filter data.
Displays the Is equal to operator, which returns results that are exactly the same as the specified criteria. For example, to filter on Product Hierarchy, you must type Product Hierarchy.
Double-click the cell and type the criteria on which you want to filter from the list of data.
Use the Transaction Review pane to view and undo transactions.
Reverse selected transaction
Creates a transaction to undo the selected transaction. For example, if the transaction changed a value from Red to Blue, this button reverts the value back to Red.
This action is available only when a row in the grid is selected.
Export to Excel
Exports all visible transactions to Excel.
If you have filtered the list of transactions, the filtered list is exported.
Displays the type of transaction. Possible values are:
If applicable, displays the name of the explicit hierarchy that changed.
Displays the name of the entity that changed.
If applicable, displays the name of the attribute that changed.
Displays the member code of the member that changed.
Displays the type of member that changed. Possible values are:
Prior Value (Explorer only)
Displays the value of the attribute before the transaction occurred.
New Value (Explorer only)
Displays the value of the attribute after the transaction occurred.
Added Date (Explorer only)
Displays the date and time that the transaction occurred.
User (Explorer only)
Displays the name of the user who made the transaction.
Use the Transaction Annotations pane to enter and view annotations for a transaction selected in the grid.
Users enter annotations to provide information about why a transaction occurred. An unlimited number of annotations can be created for a transaction.
Saves the annotation.
Deletes text in the Annotation box.
Type the text of the annotation.
Displays the text of the annotation.
Displays the name of the user that entered the annotation.
Displays the date the annotation was entered.
