Master Data Manager Icons (Master Data Services)

The following table describes important icons in Master Data Manager.

Icon

Description

Root node indicator

Indicates the root of a model, a hierarchy, or a collection.

Parent node indicator

Indicates a that an object is a parent of other objects:

  • In a model, this indicates that the object is an entity.

  • In a hierarchy, this indicates that the object is a consolidated member.

Child node indicator

Indicates that an object is at the lowest level of a model or a hierarchy:

  • In a model, this indicates that the object is a leaf attribute.

  • In a hierarchy, this indicates that the object is a leaf member.

Hierarchy enabled indicator

Indicates that you can create explicit hierarchies and collections for the entity.

Collection node indicator

Indicates that the object is a collection.

Permission can be assigned to the following objects: models, entities, attributes, attribute groups, members, hierarchies, or collections.

Description

Deny permission indicator

Indicates that the user or group is denied permission to an object.

Read-only indicator

Indicates that the user or group has read-only permission to an object.

Update button icon

Indicates that the user or group has update permission to an object.
