List.DefaultEditFormUrl property

Gets or sets a value that specifies the URL of the edit form to use for list items in the list.

Property value

Type: System.String
Returns a String instance representing the URL of the edit form to use for list items in the list.

Exceptions

Exception Condition
[Microsoft.SharePoint.SPException]

The property is set on a user information list. Error code: -2146232832.

[System.ArgumentException]

The specified URL is not a valid web URL or it does not have files present in it or the file present cannot render the list item. Error code: -2147024809.

Remarks

It must not be a null reference (Nothing in Visual Basic). It must not be empty. The client must set a server-relative URL and the server must return a site-relative URL.
