Controls Class Library

SharePoint 2010

The controls class library reference for Microsoft SharePoint Foundation includes the public namespaces that are usable by third-party developers for server-side controls, mobile controls, navigation links, Web Parts, and the Server ribbon.

Namespaces

Namespace	Description
Microsoft.SharePoint.MobileControls	Provides classes for the mobile controls in SharePoint Foundation.
Microsoft.SharePoint.Navigation	Provides types and members for customizing the navigation structures and site maps of SharePoint sites.
Microsoft.SharePoint.WebControls	Provides classes for the Web controls in SharePoint Foundation
Microsoft.SharePoint.WebPartPages	Provides classes for the Web Parts in SharePoint Foundation
Microsoft.SharePoint.WebPartPages.Communication	Provides the classes for communicating between Web Parts in SharePoint Foundation
Microsoft.Web.CommandUI	Provides the classes for the base controls of the Server ribbon in SharePoint Foundation.
