Gesture Reference (Compact 2013)

This language reference section contains descriptions of programming elements for gestures. Gestures include interactions such as touching the screen and abruptly moving the finger or stylus down to initiate scrolling. A gesture is an alternative way of giving a fixed command.

Gesture Commands

Describes the commands defined in the gesture API.

Gesture Flags and Constants

Describes the flags that indicate the state, type, and direction of gestures, and the constants used by the gesture engine.

Gesture Functions

Provides an overview of the functions available for interacting with the device by using a finger or stylus.

Gesture IOCTL

Describes the I/O controls (IOCTLs) available for interacting with the device by using a finger or stylus.

Gesture Macros

Describes the macros available for use with the gesture API.

Gesture Messages

Provides an overview of the messages available for interacting with the device by using a finger or stylus.
