Data Collection Control (Windows Embedded CE 6.0)

1/5/2010

Call Profiler provides various ways to control the amount and type of data you collect during a profiling run.

You can use the Call Profiler Collection Control window to collect data interactively during a profiling run and add Call Profiler data collection functions to your code to collect data.

You can mark sections of the logging stream and name processes and threads for easier identification in Call Profiler views and in the Call Profiler Collection Control window.

The Call Profiler logger starts when you start a process containing a statically linked instrumented module, or when you load a dynamically linked instrumented module in a noninstrumented application.

Logging continues until all instrumented modules stop running.
