Change the font and other XAML editor options

You can change the font face, font size, and other options for the text that appears in the XAML view tab. You cannot change the font color because XAML elements, attributes, and values are color-coded for easier XAML development.

To change the font

On the Tools menu, click Options.
In the Options dialog box, select Code editor.
Next to Show settings for, select XAML editor.
Under Font settings, select a Font and a Size.
Click OK.

To change the tab size and word wrap options

On the Tools menu, click Options.
In the Options dialog box, select Code editor.
Next to Show settings for, select XAML editor.
Under Editor settings, select the tab size and word wrap options that you want.
Click OK.

To restore the default XAML editor font and settings

On the Tools menu, click Options.
In the Options dialog box, select Code editor.
Next to Show settings for, select XAML editor.
Click Reset to Default.
Click OK.
