Assembly.IsDynamic Property

Gets a value that indicates whether the current assembly was generated dynamically in the current process by using reflection emit.

Property Value

Type: System.Boolean
true if the current assembly was generated dynamically in the current process; otherwise, false.

Remarks

Dynamic assemblies are represented by the derived class AssemblyBuilder.

When a dynamic assembly is saved to disk, the saved assembly is not dynamic. If the saved assembly is loaded into another application domain or process, the IsDynamic property returns false.
