BizTalk Messaging Manager Shortcut Keys

You can use shortcut keys to accomplish tasks in BizTalk Messaging Manager. The following table is a quick reference to these shortcut keys.

  • Functionality that is not included in this list can be obtained by using the numeric keypad to move the mouse pointer with MouseKeys. For more information about MouseKeys in Windows 2000 Server and Advanced Server Help, see "Using the keyboard to move the mouse pointer." CTRL+ASelect all.
CTRL+CCopy text.
CTRL+XCut text.
CTRL+VPaste text.
CTRL+ZUndo text action.
CTRL+RCreate a new messaging port to an organization.
CTRL+SHIFT+RCreate a new messaging port to an application.
CTRL+LCreate a new channel from an organization.
CTRL+SHIFT+LCreate a new channel from an application.
CTRL+TCreate a new distribution list.
CTRL+DCreate a new document definition.
CTRL+GCreate a new organization.
DELETEDelete the selected item or text.
SHIFT+F10Display the shortcut menu for the selected item.
SHIFT with any arrow keySelect more than one item in a window or select text.
TABIn a dialog box, pressing TAB moves the focus through the buttons and fields of the dialog box.
SHIFT+TABIn a dialog box, pressing TAB moves the focus through the buttons and fields of the dialog box.
CTRL+TABToggle tabs of a dialog box in front-to-back order.
CTRL+SHIFT+TABToggle tabs of a dialog box in back-to-front order.
SPACEBARSelect or clear a check box. The spacebar also acts like a mouse click when the focus is on a button.
ALT+SPACEBARDisplay the system menu for the active window.
ALT+Underlined letter in a menu nameDisplay the corresponding menu.
Underlined letter in a command name on an open menuCarry out the corresponding command.
ALT+ DOWN ARROWDisplay the drop-down list for an activated list box.
ENTERCarry out the command for the active option or button.
ESCCancel the current task.
F1Display online Help.
ALT+F4Close the active window, or quit the active program.
LEFT ARROWMove the focus to the tab to the left.
RIGHT ARROWMove the focus to the tab to the right.
Any arrow keyHighlight a folder or a file in the main window of a dialog box, while the focus is in that window. This functionality occurs in the Select a Document Specification from the WebDAV Repository, the Select an Envelope Specification from the WebDAV Repository, and the Select a Map from the WebDAV Repository dialog boxes.
