4.1.2 ROP Response Buffer

The ROP response buffer in this example resembles the following.

0000: 32 02 00 00 00 00

The composition of the response buffer is as follows:

RopId: 0x32 (RopSubmitMessageROP ([MS-OXCROPS] section 2.2.7.1))

InputHandleIndex: 0x02

ReturnValue: 0x00000000 (ecNone)

The value of the response's InputHandleIndex field is the same as the value of the InputHandleIndex field of the RopSubmitMessage ROP, and the return value of 0x00000000 indicates success. From the response, the client is aware that the message was submitted successfully.
