This document covers versioning issues in the following areas:

Supported Transports: The WebDAV Extensions for Documents Support use HTTP as their only transport.
Versioning: This document introduces no new versioning mechanisms except those that already exist in WebDAV and HTTP as described in [RFC2518] and [RFC2068].
Capability Negotiation: This specification introduces no new capability negotiations except those that already exist in [RFC2518] sections 10.1 and 18, and in [RFC2068] section 9.2, via the OPTIONS method.
