SortOrder Enumeration

Specifies how items in a list are sorted.

Namespace:  System.Windows.Forms
Assembly:  System.Windows.Forms (in System.Windows.Forms.dll)
public enum SortOrder
Member nameDescription
NoneThe items are not sorted.
AscendingThe items are sorted in ascending order.
DescendingThe items are sorted in descending order.

Use the members of this enumeration to set the value of the Sorting property of the ListView control.

Supported in: 4.5, 4, 3.5, 3.0, 2.0, 1.1, 1.0

.NET Framework Client Profile

Supported in: 4, 3.5 SP1

Windows 8, Windows Server 2012, Windows 7, Windows Vista SP2, Windows Server 2008 (Server Core Role not supported), Windows Server 2008 R2 (Server Core Role supported with SP1 or later; Itanium not supported)
