View and download billing statements and usage data for Azure

Updated: April 24, 2014

The Azure Account Center enables the Azure account administrator to view the current bill and to download statements for the previous six billing periods. The amount shown for the current bill is an estimate of charges as of the time the estimate was generated, based on current service usage.

Depending on your usage, there can be thousands of rows of daily usage data. If you want to analyze this data more easily, you can export the data to a comma-separated values (CSV) file that you can import into Microsoft Office Excel and other programs.

  1. Sign in to the Azure Account Center using the Microsoft Account or Organizational ID that was used to create the account.

    noteNote
If you are the account administrator, you can also access the Account Center from the Microsoft Azure Management Portal. To do so, click your account name, and then click View my bill.

  2. On the Subscriptions page, click the subscription for which you want to view billing and usage information.

The subscription Overview page appears and displays details about resource consumption since the beginning of the current billing cycle. This page also provides an estimate of your next bill based on current usage.

  3. To download a CSV file that contains detailed information about daily resource usage for the current billing period, perform the following steps:

    1. On the Overview page, click Download usage details. The Billing History page appears.

    2. For the Current period line item, click Download Usage as shown here.
