2.1 Transport

This protocol MUST use HTTP 1.1. The client or server can impose additional requirements on authentication and security as part of the transfer. When additional requirements are imposed, authentication information MUST be exchanged between the clients and server as required by HTTP and the relevant authentication and security protocols. The transport can require proxy resolution.
