Microsoft.SharePoint.Portal Namespace
The Microsoft.SharePoint.Portal namespace contains classes that create the Web-based components and services of the portal site, such as resource management.
Some classes or members of the Microsoft.SharePoint.Portal namespace are not supported. It is recommended that you refrain from using unsupported classes or members when developing solutions for Microsoft SharePoint Products and Technologies.
