Sign In Control

The Sign In control handles the sign-in process by using Delegated Authentication. This control will automatically sign the user in to Windows Live™ Messenger when the consent token is received. You can design the application to redirect when the consent token is received or make an Asynchronous JavaScript and XML (AJAX) call when the consent token is received to store the token in the site's database.

To learn more about Delegated Authentication, see Delegated Authentication for the Windows Live Messenger Web Toolkit section.
