SqlFunctions.Acos Method (Nullable<Decimal>)

A mathematical function that returns the angle, in radians, whose cosine is the specified numerical value. This angle is called the arccosine.

Parameters

arg1
Type: System.Nullable<Decimal>

The cosine of an angle.

Return Value

Type: System.Nullable<Double>
An angle, measured in radians.

You cannot call this function directly. This function can only appear within a LINQ to Entities query.

This function is translated to a corresponding function in the database. For information about the corresponding SQL Server function, see ACOS (Transact-SQL).
