Codeunit 9200 Matrix Management

The following tables show the input and output parameters for two matrix management functions in codeunit 9200, Matrix Management, in the standard application. Codeunit 9200 contains functions to manage the behavior of the new matrix forms after you have redesigned them so that they can be transformed. Defines set of records that you want. The following options are available:

  • Initial

  • Previous

  • Same

The maximum number of records allowed in the set. Normally 32.

Integer

The field number of the field in the RecRef that is used as the caption.

An array that contains the captions for the matrix.

The range of the specified CaptionSet.

The number of records in the current set.

Function GeneratePeriodMatrixData

The GeneratePeriodMatrixData function works in the same way as the GenerateMatrixData function except that it also does the following:

  • Generates an array of the matrix records in the set.

  • Generates more user-friendly captions (such as quarter/year instead of quarter).

  • Performs the typical date record filtering, such as when the period is an accounting period.
