Type: Automated Test

Overview

The Print Driver Stress Test stresses the driver in various ways. This test is not meant to have output evaluated. It must be run for two hours.

Details

This test can generate large quantities of output. You can ignore and discard this output.

This test exercises various driver code paths (both the rendering and configuration portion of the driver) on multiple threads. This exercise creates a stress environment for the printer drivers and often bugs are revealed by using this tool.

Typically, this test prints to a NULL port printer to avoid the large quantities of physical output.
