FocusOnClick Property

Microsoft Dynamics Nav 2009

Sets a value that allows the user to put focus on the control by clicking the mouse or by using the designated access key.

  • Check boxes

  • Command buttons

  • Menu buttons

  • Option buttons

Yes if the user places focus on this control by clicking or using the access key; otherwise, No. The default value is Yes for check boxes and option buttons. The default value is No for command buttons and menu buttons.

For example, if you create a form that lists sales orders and you added a command button that enabled users to post all selected orders, set the command button's FocusOnClick property to a value of No. Otherwise, when the user clicked the command button, focus would be removed from the selected orders, and there would be nothing to post.

With the exception of command buttons, menu buttons, check boxes, and option buttons, focusable controls always receive focus when you click on them.
