Office Communications Server Archiving Service

The Microsoft Office Communications Server 2007 R2 Archiving service consists of two components.

  • The Archiving Agent installed by default on each Office Communications Server.

  • The Archiving service itself, which is installed on a separate server with a SQL database for storing the logged messages.
